2.9.4 Private Use of Equipment, Property, Services, or Supplies

College equipment, property, services, or supplies are not intended for conducting
any personal business or for any purpose not directly related to college work. This
prohibition includes but is not limited to the use of workroom equipment, supplies,
and secretarial services.
Equipment purchased by the College for use in carrying out College tasks should remain
at the college where it is accessible to all personnel. In the event, however, that
a college employee requires the use of college equipment off鈥揷ampus for a short period
of time, the following procedures should be followed:
- Solicit the approval of the Chief Operating Officer.
- Solicit the equipment coordinator鈥檚 signature.
- Leave the completed form with the equipment coordinator.
- Complete the requested information on the Equipment Checkout Form, located on the SCC Intranet.
Return the equipment on the date written in the 鈥淓xpected Return Date鈥 section on the form.
