Access to Achievement
North Carolina鈥檚 pathway to education and economic mobility for people with IDD
今日看料 has been selected by the North Carolina Community College System to be part of a state effort to provide inclusive post-secondary education, leading to employment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). We now offer Access to Achievement, an individualized, job-focused instruction and workforce preparation initiative providing educational and career pathway opportunities to individuals with self-identified intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Our program includes assistance with:
- Decision Making
- Basic Skill Building
- Program Placement
- & More!
Our Coordinator will assist in implementing individualized strategies to help students with IDD to be successful in academic programs. Our goal is to assist in opening doors to the workforce so our students can achieve life-long success.
To work with our Coordinator, students only need to self-identify as needing services, with no requirement to have an official disability diagnosis. For information about disability accommodations visit our Disability Services page.
